We are currently looking to fill an opening for the critical role of Medical Assistant/Orthopedic Technician for our Roswell Office with travel to our office near St. Joseph’s Hospital.  Duties will include performing or assisting with advanced technical procedures and patient care services under the direct supervision of the physician. This candidate will possess training and demonstrated skill with lower extremity casting and other various technical devices for orthopedics.  The successful candidate will possess two or more years of experience in an orthopedic healthcare environment. 

The successful candidate will exhibit a professional appearance and demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in all written and oral communications, including email.  A responsible person who takes initiative will thrive in this team-oriented position.

 Additional Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred; or
• Graduate of an Accredited Certified Orthopedic Tech Program (NBCOT) preferred
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant or Orthopedic Tech preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR, AED) certification

• Casting Training
• Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
